Our Freestone peaches are available from mid - July through early August.  These peaches are grown for sale in the Fresh Market arena, as well as the "Fresh Frozen" marketplace, and all of our freestone peach blocks are Certified Organic.
As you can likely guess, the 'freestone' peaches get thier name from the fact that the peach seed, or pit, does not have any inclination to cling to the surrounding fruit flesh once the peach has reached maturity.  This makes freestone peaches a little more fun to eat in the field because you can simply grasp the peach between your hands and twist each side the opposite direction and 'pop' the fruit in half - of course if the peach is over-ripe, you will make a BIG mess.
Also, in the Cultural Operations section of our website you can view some of the equipment we use in our weed management strategy which allows us to continue growing this high quality Certified Organic fruit.
