Pruning is the one of the most important parts of maintaining production in any orchard or vineyard.  When done correctly, pruning will help the health of the tree or vine and also helps us determine our production capabilities for the following year.  We are able to closely determine the amount of fruit we will have at bloom time based on how agressively we prune the trees...it is important to strike a balance between maximizing production potential and controlling thinning costs, and we constantly strive to improve our efficiency.
